Ivette was almost likeable tonight. Janelle, was as usual, FABULOUS! I loved Rachel's "jealous" comment to Jennifer... if Janie can pull it off I will JUST FLIP!

I think Ivette is going to be the first one to let go of the key, because she is farting around with her hair & her face. The second one will be Maggie, because she doesn't seem to be very good at this and she is not holding on to the key very well. Janelle has her heart set on the safe as well as the 1/2 million dollars.

I am so glad the safe combo is for the winner. April told Janelle not to give up endurance for safe. I hope Janelle can hold out. I'm really glad that they are showing the competition on feeds.

Awwwwwwwwwww I knew April was leaving, but still had an ounce of hope Ivette would get a brain. Darn I was wrong lol. So now I like Maggie again and am just hoping for anybody but Ivette. Still though I'm routing for Janelle over Maggie. I do think it will be Maggie to win this HOH. She lasted the longest out of the 3 in Pressure Cooker, and I think she is in the best shape of the 3.

In watching this comp tonight, I realized one thing, Maggie is in better shape because of her endurance workouts. She will probably outlast all of them. As far as the comment about Ivette not reaching as far as Janie, height has alot to do with that. Maggie is reaching farther than all of them because she is the shortest. GO MAGGIE GO!!!!!

I really wouldn't surprize me if maggie was out first because she thinks both will take her to final 2 and doesn't know janelle will take ivette so she has a chance to win if april keeps her word and votes for her. I knew Ivette would take off April.. even before their fight, Ivette said she would feel awful if April won it cause she said April has said over and over earlier that she didn't really need the money.

Now three hours into the HOH competition and all three still in it. Certainly Maggie's hours in the gym will help her. I've tried to sleep a few times, but keep getting up to see if anything has been decided yet.

seems they're stopping more frequently and maybe increasing the speed a little...janie's falling apart - but i'm hoping it will be more distracting to the others and break their concentration and hopefully she can fight through it.

I think that the only only reason that Ivette is telling Janelle to hold on is because her best chance is if Janie wins and takes her, because if she wins and takes Janie the FS would be pissed, but if she goes to final two against Maggie, then she has no shot. Ivette's only chance at money is if Janie brings her not the other way around.

I can just picture that smug pig trying to keep a strait face while answering jury questions. She will lose. Think most would rather give the $ to Ivette if it comes down to the 2 NH in F2. last night, when it was just ivette and maggie left in the comp, ivette was begging maggie to step down. she said that janelle was going to take her to the final 2, but that she herself didn't stand a chance if maggie and she went together..this was said in a panic of course, but does that not make maggie think????? ivette thinks she stands a chance if she goes to the final 2 with janie but not maggie, she said everyone would vote for maggie...either way you slice it, if ivette wins HoH, i do believe she won't walk away with the money, unless maggie likes the feeling of being jilted in the end and votes for her anyway.

Does anyone know why BB6 was so diffrent from other seasons? By diffrent I mean they only did the PB&J diet 2-3 times , they had like one luxury comp ( the movie) and no shopping spree this year? The show was great dont get me wrong but watching them do food comps and fight for luxury adds a little flare in my opinion so I just have been curious why this year was so diffrent. Any ideas Ms.Hamster?

I am glad to see that Ivette is doing so well. I hope it's her and Maggie going to the end. Janelle just needs to go away from BB6 and never to be heard of again.

Dang it! I turned off the feed for one stinking hour and come back to the stupid fish. Please don't tell me Suzie was right! If so, that just isn't fair. I've only had the feeds for 3 weeks and I've seen more of the fish than I have of the hamsters.:(

I am a true believer in everyone having their opinion and being able to share their opinion freely without reprecussion. You truly cannot see through another's eyes to see how they see the world. But, I AM DISGUSTED, OUTRAGED, AND TRULY SADDENED that someone had the audacity to compare his/her unhappiness, disappointment or whatever with the Friendship Alliance and BB6, to the Horror the citizens of the gulf coast regions have suffered through due to Hurricane Katrina. I am not sure where this person resides, but I speak from someone who lives in Birmingham, AL and has seen first hand what a tragedy our fellow americans, neighbors, friends, and families have had to live through, and have seen the ones who didnt survive. My Dearest Friend in the World who lives 2 blocks from where the 17th street levee broke in Metarie, LA (a suburb of New Orleans) who was forced to stay because he is an environmental engineer, and was forced to stay because he would be needed to help put the city back together after Katrina hit. He also had to move his terminally ill father and aging mother to his home because he was unable to find proper medical transport for his father out of the city and thought his home which is on higher ground than his parents, would be safe temporarily. He and his parents were in the attic of his condo which, Thank the Good Lord up above, is on the second and third floor of his complex. They were there from early tuesday morning Aug. 30 til Monday afternoon sept. 5. My friend Dave, causcasian, and his parents are the only members of thier family that live here in the United States. His parents moved to New Orleans from The UK before he was born because they fell in love with what New Orleans' soul seems to willingly, gladly, adn freely give to everyone who walks her streets, enjoys her everabounding cultures, and is forever changed when they have their introduction to cajun spice (it's not just the stuff in food). That one of a kind, unforgettable experience, that gets you at the core and forever has a very special place in your heart. New Orleans is one of a kind and awakens something in each and every person that enters. Her History and magic are awe inspiring.

Because I am not a blood relative I fought day and night to get information on Dave and his parents or to get someone to go to his neighborhood. They were found alive, barely, and they are all still in the hospital due to the severity of what 6 days in an attic with toxic waters raging around you and air that burns your insides in places you never knew existed, for every breath you take. By the grace of God, they survived but when the rushing waters knocked out the bottom floor of his complex just seconds after the levee broke, they grabbed what necessities they could carry and rushed to higher ground praying for rescue.

That is actual reality.

I am sure that Dave and his family would live with The NH, as they are called, for an eternity instead of a moment of what indescribable misery they, adn thousands just like them, had to go through for a week. It is horrifying that people are that self absorbed that they compare their suffering from a Television show, about people you do not know, never will meet, and truly have had no true impact effect on the day to day bubble they must live in. Step away from the T.V. and computer realize that your fellow human beings are in great misery right now and trust me would trade anything to be able to complain about such trivial B.S. as BB6 and the NH or the S6.

Some People's selfishness is apalling.

I have been a BB fan since the beginning and I will watch it til the last episode airs. But I have to say That true reality has kicked my A** and no matter what troubles or complaints I may have, I can say, I think twice now before I b***ch and moan about how life sucks and I Thank God for the life he has given me. I have never had to deal with even a moment of anything that can compare with what The Gulf Coast citizens are dealing with and will have to deal with and overcome for months and years to come.

Hamsterdame thank you for a great place for people to share their feelings about BB, and to get updates on what they may have missed. I am sorry to rant, I am normally a very mellow and passive person but I was physically ill the moment I read that BB6 and the f/s drama was compared to the suffering victims and survivors of Hurricane Katrina have had to take on. I am sure anyone who lives in the Southeast, or any coastal region, who suffered from Katrina or the other nasty Hurricanes we have had in the past would love to be able to trade with anyone who is suffering from BB.

Do they have programs to help people who have been victimized from reality tv? Call the former FEMA director, I heard he is looking for something to do? Maybe that would be a job he could actually handle, though it will surely be a tough job for him to actually do anything. I have a feeling Roy Nagin, Mayor of New Orleans, Kathleen Blanco, Governor of Louisiana, and many other local, state, and federal government officials are going to have alot of free time on their hands and in need of someone who will even claim to know them, they could handle a relief effort for all those who are permenantly scared from television shows, reality or otherwise.

Dave and his family have lost everything and are still not physically out of the woods for good. The physical and mental anguish will always be something they have to deal with. They will always keep their heads held high, like all other New Orleans residents do. They will not go with out one hell of a fight and the spirit and soul only New Orleans could have will never die, be lost, be destroyed, and will never be forgotten. They are called the saints for a reason.
My prayers are with you all. Please dont forget the gulf coast, they need our love and support now more than ever. And if the shoe was on the other foot the great people from the land I love and will always call home, would do the exact same for you.

***** Note from HamsterDame - Hexy, who are you upset at here? Nobody's comparing the devastation from Katrina to Big Brother. I'm truly sorry if I or anybody else here offended you. I myself live on the Gulf Coast and all of us in this part of Texas know it could have happened here just as it did on your part of the Gulf Coast. I personally do not know of a single person (friend, co-worker, acquaintance) that has not in some way volunteered their time or donated money/supplies/clothing etc and many have actually volunteered at shelters in our city because of the huge amount of evacuees we received from Katrina. Again, if you were offended by this post I apologize.

Is it just me, or is Maggie really trying to play Ivette? Did anyone else hear her (Mag) say, "I think that our played this game very well, because we made promises to take each other to the end."? I'm I just reading too much into it or is that a not so subtle threat. In other words, if you win HOH and don't pick me, you're breaking a promise to the FS. Now, isn't Maggie the one who once made the statement that, "We all know that at some point we will have to start playing the game for ours and not for the FS."? WTF She's really getting dirty now!!!!!!! :(

I've hesitated before responding to the Hexie post. You know, the reason why we watch BB (or at least that I watch BB) is to escape. It's clear you, Hexie, have a very personal pulse on what's happened and perhaps you just needed to vent. I personally have donated to the victims (I don't know anyone who HASN'T to be honest) but I think if you need to vent, vent. Leave others out of it. I think I know the post you mean and I interpret it as: things right now really suck, we could use a little sunshine to brighten up our day. Simple as that sounds. I did not interpret it as trivializing Katrina but that's probably b/c I don't have such a personal attachment to a victim. I know I can tend to take things personally when I'm feeling extra sensitive to a subject so I do understand. I am glad your friend and his parents are ok, by the grace of God. I just felt like I needed to express the above.
