To my absolute surprise Nick is my favorite. I really thought I wouldn't like him at first but he's got a very sweet quality that seems real.

I also love Dick closely followed by Dustin and Amber. Yes, Amber. I like her because she's not one of the girly girls and even though she talks too much I think she's a hoot. Jessica is growing on me too. Still not happy with this cast but i'm getting attached anyway.

I have to pick Jameka! I love her!

(But Dustin is my very close second.)

Dustin for me too. Hands down. He is just so even-keeled or something. He doesn't shreek(sic) when he talks, he doesn't wave his hands in the hair when he talks, he is not walking around looking at his chest, he doesn't wear a different shirt every hour with his name on it some way.

Nick is my favorite cuz he's from MN and his favorite beer is Leinenkugel's Honeyweiss!

...Janelle the ****** was from MN too, but I couldn't stand her! ! !

I would like to see Daniele win so she could spend $500k on food and add some meat to her bones! TOO SKINNY!

This is a tough one, but Dick. He's my favorite so far, but it's a very close call.

I do have to say it is hard picking one because I do like a lot of the HG. Of course there are some that I don't really care for, but if I had to choose just one it would be Danielle... I am not quite sure what it is, I guess I just really like her personality!

I have to say right now (and I may change my mind some time during the game) that my favorite player is Dick, the (White Rabbit.) I think he will try to save his little Alice (Danielle) at any cost no matter how abrasive he is. But with that said, he's got game and has studied past seasons of BB and knows what he's doing every minute. The young ones might throw him down the rabbit hole at some point, but for now, they seem to adore him and being safe is what it's about;D

I gotta say I have absolutely NO favorites. Instead, I have hamsters that don't annoy me as much as the rest of them do. So, in the order that they ANNOY me:

1. Jen-u-whine: if she thought her picture was bad, just wait until she see's what she looks like when she cries
2. Jessica: the stupidity abounds
3. Joe: not really faulting Dustin for cheating on him.
4. Danielle: Eat something. Anything.
5. Amber: quit the crying
6. Kyle: climb off the self-importance horse
7. Dick: climb off the self-importance horse
8. Carol: uh - maybe if you watched the show once or twice you would realize that the cameras follow you everywhere IN BIG BROTHER . . . get real - but you'll be gone soon enough!
9. Mike: riding Kyle's coattails, flying under radar
10. Zack: right behind Mike
11. Nick - are you bi? Or just thinking flirting with everyone in the house is a real long-term strategy?
12. Eric - America's Choice? How about next year, America gets to CHOOSE who America's CHOICE is?
13. Dustin - funny, but play right into Joe's hands with all the drama. He might be more enjoyable if Joe were to leave.
14. Jameka - nice, but maybe too nice for this game. She'll be conflicted in a few weeks about the need to be deceptive.

Okay - so, by default, Jameka is my favorite, but only because she annoys me the least. NOT a ringing endorsement. Wouldn't be terribly bothered if all the other women left, one-by-one, starting this week. The men are not nearly as annoying, yet. 'cept for Joe.

HamsterDame - How about a "who is the most annoying" post?

Amber ... hands down. Dick might be guiding her along alittle, but I still think she may have what it takes to win.
And since BB started, I have always picked one guy and one girl, to be my favorites. I know you only asked for one, and Amber is it, but if she doesn't win ... Dick is my back up. (Wow, I just 'said' that? ... who'd of thunk it?) lol

P.S. Dustin is TOO cute! I love that him and Amber 'cuddle'. awwwww.

My favorite is Dick. He is a perfect example of why you really shouldn't judge a book by its cover. I find him to be smart and very funny, even if some of his humor is on the really colorful side.

I would love for Dick to win. Do I think he will? I don't know. It is way to early to make a prediction. But, yes, I do think he could win.

I have to say Dick is my favorite. He is just himself and doesn't change because someone else doesn't like something about him. I think that may come with his age and the age of the other young houseguests. Kale and Dustin are a close second.

Dustin is my absolute favorite in the house!!!! I'm so happy to see so many of you agree with me too! OR I agree with you all:) Either way, he's my #1....closely followed by Evel Dick! I've really enjoyed getting to know him in the house, from the way he talks I probably wouldn't like him outside the house but in there he's great.

I'm trying to decide upon my two favorites... because it's still so early I'm going to allow a tie for my choice(s)- Dustin and Jameka. Dustin is all around a good HG and Jameka is incredibly likable, so far. One particular moment both of them were fun to watch was when Jameka was doing, and talking to Dustin about her hair. He said something like, "do you like having so many... options?" And she was like, "options?" wondering what this white man was possibly going to say and Dustin busts out, "up dos , cornrows, french twists, ponies, buns, pins, curls, straight" he said a few more but I clearly can't exhibit the same barrage of descriptions which made it so funny. Then to top it off they joke about how BB better not call her to DR and the fake names she'd use in her disguise--- a few moments later she was called! Hilarious! I hope they show it on the show.

Chris had an interesting point, while I enjoy watching the players my picks are not necessarily the people I would be freinds with outside of the house. For the last 2 seasons, Janelle was one of my favorite players. But I could never imagine her as a freind.

So that makes me wonder what do other people look for in their favorite player? For me, they have to add something to the show - maybe they are the underdog who survives attacks or maybe they are really entertaining in their own wacky way (chicken george springs to mind). I think I also choose my favorites based on behaviors they do not display. Some characteristics of players that I dislike:

A superior attitude - while it is nice to be confident in your alliance or game play, it really annoys me when players "dis" their room mates for behaviors that they also display.

A personal tic - over time some voices or catch phrases become really, really, really annoying.

A bully

A Liar - ok, now this one is a thin line one. To play the game right they all need to be able to lie a bit. What I dislike is a rumour monger lie. Spreading malicious lies that your room mate is oh, lets see - sexually harrassing you
Some things have far reaching repercusions. Insinuating that "Bob" is the one who drank the last beer is ok. Telling people that "Bob" confided to you that he molests young children = bad

This early in the game it's hard for me to pick just one, being in the minority, I actually really like the cast this year. I guess my #1 favorite right now is Dustin. I have to throw it out there that I would love to post most annoying HG's as well.

EVIL DICK - he is hot and a disturber of the calm, his looks are deceptive, he has the brains he just needs to sit back and watch things develope, I hope this season he can resolve the issues with Danielle.

My favorite has to be Eric, since he is America's Player. I know that is a lame answer, but I can't say that I like one particular player yet, I need more time with the hamsters.

So glad to hear i am not the only one who loves dustin, w/ dick being a close sec. Even tho it IS early in the game i think these guys will go far! On a lighter note; I 2 love 2 come 2 the silly hamster blog 2 read HDs latest blog! Been coming 2 this site 4 3 years running now. Kudos also 4 the awesome links and pics on the side bar.

I LOVE Evil Dick! Jameka is a close second, and Dustin. ED, though, is a big teddy bear inside a Grizzly bear's body. I was especially pleased when he just now told Jen (makes me sick that we share a name) off about her total lack of consideration for others. :-)

If we were going with those I hate the most, it would be a tie between Joe and Jen...I don't know which is more annoying.

They would be closely followed by Danielle (sorry, but she reminds me too much of my cousin and she gets on my nerves, too...someone PLEASE feed her!) and Eric (NOT MY choice...next year WE should vote on who we'd like to represent us). :-)

I have to agree with Dustin hands down. He's easy on the eyes, smart, layed back, mostly sees what's happening in the house. He's not letting joe throw him off the game he wants to play. I haven't seen any real dark side to him as of yet. I hope and feel maybe "He can go all the way". lol

Hey, HD! It's me again, the one who made the t-shirt designs. :3 Do you remember me? Hehee! My intrigue has been sucked into another season of BB's vortex of WIN, and I might just get inspired to do some more T-Shirt designs this year. We'll see, heeheeeeee...

Before I answer your favorite-hamster question, I'm shocked at how many people picked Dick as their favorite or one of their top favorites! I thought that his look and slight bit of arrogance would put a lot of the audience off, but I'm surprised that a lot of people here seem to take a liking to him.

I'm not surprised at all at my own partiality towards him. My God, is he attractive for an older man. @_@ I've always loved the bad boys. Always. An earlier comment that described him as a "teddy bear in a grizzly's body", and that's pretty much a huge share of why he appeals to me.

Also, his back story (sans the name-dropping; that's the only thing I don't like about him. I love ya, but SHUT UP, DUDE) about being a dad whose daughter hates him appeals to me. I haven't talked to my dad for about two years, so to hear of another father-daughter separation draws me to him. Watching his fatherliness come out in the diary room and in the way he talks to Danielle, it "fulfills" me slightly. To top it all off, I love the way he handles Jen. What a bimbo, and he realizes it, and he says so. GO, DICK, GO!

He, Joe, Dustin, and Eric are my favorite guys in the house. The other three just don't interest me. (I shouldn't admit this, but the Dustin/Joe drama is sooo addicting to watch. Probably not so great to live with, though, lol.)

I'm still on the fence about any of the girls. *shrug* Not sure. I wish Jessica would quit talking smack, though. Quite annoying. Grow up, honey, it isn't high school anymore.
