Liveblogging - Tuesday, September 11th, 2007
-:65 - My stomach's churning right now and I'm not even in the mood to watch the show tonight because of Dick's attitude towards Zach about 30 minutes ago on the feeds. Strategy my ass. He's just a dick. So anyway, jump into chat during the show tonight and/or after the show to discuss the endurance competition that will be going on as part 1 of the final HOH competition gets underway. Hopefully it will last longer than a few minutes this time! LOL
:00 - Previously on....
:02 - JC is dressed up in business formal. Wow. 74 days ago an estranged father/daughter would be reunited as a air in final 4. Zach shocked his former allies by putting them up for eviction. All comes down to POV competition. As HOH, Zach can not vote. They'll decide live who gets to go home tonight. How did Dick respond to Zach's betrayal by putting him up?
:03 - Footage from HOH ceremony. Dick in DR talking about how Zach said that Jameka restored his faith in God and that all of it was to get on her good side and makes him sick. Back to footage of Zach's HOH speech. Meeting adjourned.
:05 - Dani in DR says that Zach lied to them and is upset that Zach went back on his word. Dick says in DR that Zach's last statement was crap and that both of them have been a target since week 1. D/D in kitchen talking about how Zach is liar and making fun of how Zach said that Jameka changed his faith in God. Zach in DR says he has to win POV.
:06 - Zach and Dick talking in kitchen in front of Dani about the nominations and upcoming POV and final jury votes. Dick says that Zach won't have a single vote. Zach says he might have a shot. Jameka in bathroom thanks him for not putting him up. Jameka in DR says that it was a great idea putting both of them up.
:07 - Back to Dick trash-talking in kitchen to Zach. Dick says that Zach has skated in and isn't all that worried about it. Zach tells Dick jokingly that he's the mastermind. Dick in DR says that he'd better be on his game tomorrow. Zach in DR makes fun of Dick and says that he'd really love Dick to go down in flames.
:08 - Julie says we're going to actually check in with the houseguests in the jury house and find out how life has been. Commercial.
:12 - We're back. Time for jury house. Jury house footage now. Dustin enters the swanky pad. Says it will be awesome. Very nice house!!! Dustin says he was evicted and sent to paradise and really looking forward to relaxing for a week and ready for people to roll in one by one after him.
:13 - Three weeks ago, here comes Jen. They greet each other and Dustin welcomes her to loser's paradise. Dustin said first thing he wanted to do was smack her for evicting him over Dick. Jen says she doesn't miss BB and says they're (Dustin and herself) are going to put all of their bad feelings aside. Two weeks ago, Amber enters. Dustin and Amber hug. Cheers between the three and they hope a bad person comes in through the door next.
:14 - One week ago, here comes Jessica. They're thrilled to see her. Amber's shocked Jessica is there but thinks she got what she deserved and glad there's a good person left in the house (Jameka).
:15 - Here comes Eric in the middle of their toast. They're all shocked. Jessica said he was the last person she wanted to see come walking in the kitchen and that he was the funnest person in the house. Jessica and Eric have a long hug. They're shocked. Eric has the DVD.
:16 - They're watching footage of previous competitions. Eric says that the day can not come soon enough that he can reveal he was America's Player and hopes they understand and that it was something he was brought there to do. Dustin says it's just what they were talking about (Zach still being there). Dustin hopes that Zach and Jameka bond together and overtake the Donatos. Eric says if Zach has any brain he'd do that. Jen says, "Well, that was fun."
:17 - JC tells us that the most important POV competition is coming up with the battle lines drawn - Zach and Jameka on one side and the Donatos on the other. Also ahead, the live veto meeting and eviction. Commercial.
:20 - JC welcomes us back. Time for the final POV competition. The veto winner holds all the power. Who will win the POV?
:21 - Jameka and Zach drilling up in HOH. Zach in DR says that he knows he and Jameka have to work together on this. Back to drilling in HOH. Downstairs, Dick tells Daniele that if they can't beat these two idiots they deserve to go home and that there's no reason why they can't kick their ass. Daniele in DR says that it's win or go home. Dick tells her to be confident and not be afraid and tells her she's won this four times. Daniele sighs and says but she's lost two. Dick tells her she's dominated this more than anybody else.
:23 - Jameka and Zach pray in the HOH room. Chanting monks playing in the background during their praying.
:24 - Zach in DR says that this is now a war and says that he and Jameka feel like they're on the good side.
:24 - They're going out back for POV competition. Dick in DR says that it's the two of them against Zach and Jameka and hat Zach drew a line in the sand and found himself on the wrong side.
:24 - POV is named Big Brother Decoder. Put the face of the houseguest on the board between the clues that applies on that person. After doing that, must spin wheel to get corresponding number. After doing all of the houseguests they'll be able to answer 'How many seconds have you been in the BB house?'.
:25 - Competition starts. Ripping off cards covering clues. Dick's putting the faces between the clues. Dani wanted to make sure she had all the faces before she started putting them on the board. Jameka worked the puzzle and number combination at the same time. Zach said he had no idea what the hell he was doing. Figured if he could get one face/number out of the way he could keep moving down the road.
:27 - Dick in DR saying if you could figure out one person and clue for sure that he was putting it up there and getting it out of his hand. Jameka says that one of the clues that tripped her up was 'held HOH only one time' and had forgotten that Dick had just won HOH. Zach says there were so many variables between figuring out how the clues worked and everything but figured things out once he got Kail and said he'd been brain-farting during the first few minutes of the game.
:28 - Dani in DR says she felt like she took forever because she kept going back and forth and said it was more confusing than she thought it would be. Dick in DR said he was trying to get it done as fast as possible and then he finished first but he was wrong. Dani said a couple of them were really difficult but once she figured out Eric she knew she was right.
:29 - Dick pacing back and forth trying to figure it out, now they're all going at it. Dani said it was stressful not knowing how the other players were doing. Zach guesses and it's wrong. Daniele presses the buzzer and wins POV.
:30 - Daniele runs around the backyard screaming like a banshee and finds Dick and hugs him. Jameka says out loud that she's going home. Daniele still screaming and celebrating. She runs and gets the POV medal and puts it on herself. Says in DR that this was the most important veto competition and is so excited.
:31 - Dick yells out Final Three and throws something (water bottle) and tells Zach that he won't even be final two. He picks up another card and throws it up in the air.
:32 - Dick going off on Zach now about how he turned on them two. Dick's really going off and Zach told Dick that he played better than them two and tells Dick his attitude is awful. Dick going off about Zach being the muscle. Zach tells Dick that Daniele carried him. Dick calls him an overgrown ego something and asks why he isn't wearing his crown and tells him to go up in the HOH and rething things. Zach tells him he should get back on the treadmill.
:33 - Dick goes over to Jameka and says congrats and that he'd much rather bring her to final three than the other. Dick goes inside and yells out Final Three and says 'you're going home' about Zach. Dick goes to round room and yells 'Game Over' and Jameka says I don't know about the game being over but it is for me.
:34 - D/D in round room celebrating. Dick says he wouldn't pick anybody else to be in this house to be on his team. Dick's yelling really loud so everybody in the house can hear him. Daniele says in DR that there's no way Zach is getting rid of her that easy. Dick in DR says they want it all - they want everything - this is the season of the Donatos. *puke*
:35 - JC congratulates Daniele in the living room about winning 5 POVs. She asks him about his tactics of unnerving others before competitions and asks why he waited until after the POV to confront Zach. Dick said some things just needed to be said. JC asks Jameka if she was surprised about Zach restoring his faith in God and she said it makes her feel good. Zach says that he always believed in God before he walked in to this house but that Jameka gave him a helping hand to get back on track. Dick was rolling his eyes and making faces during all of this. Commercial. Seriously, I've never been so disgusted by Big Brother before.
:40 - We're back and it's time for the live veto meeting. JC tells Dani it's not the first time her and her dad have been on the chopping block together. Daniele says that she has to pack about three times more than he does and that this week it doesn't matter who comes off and who stays on this week and she's deciding to return the favor and taking her dad off the block. Dick says that was a surprise and they hug. Jameka goes up on the block now.
:41 - Jameka and Daniele on the block. Jameka says she's been here 74 days and has enjoyed her experience and understands that everybody has played their game on their own agenda and tells ED to do what he has to do but nonetheless thanks them all. Daniele says that this is a speech she's not used to - had a great experience here but that if he doesn't use it on her maybe they won't speak for another couple of years (joking).
:42 - Dick stands and votes to evict Jameka. Tells his daughter thanks for using it on him. JC tells her it's official. Jameka hugs Zach and Daniele and Dick and says bye sweeties. Jameka thanks them again and walks out the door.
:43 - Dani says "and then there were three".
:44 - Jameka gives Julie a hug and has a seat. Back inside, they watch Jameka's picture turn to black. They're all quiet. Dick then tells Daniele that he was very surprised and it was very unexpected. Zach says that was cool and that still to this day he's only seen last season and how he took her off....
:44 - JC asks Jameka about her friendship with Zach outside the house. Jameka doesn't see any phone calls outside the house but perhaps occasional emails. Jameka says that how Dick acted towards her praying in the game didn't surprise her but it's his strategy and he has to do what he has to do . JC reminds her of her quote - "I'm not used to being around all these white people." Jameka says they passed all her expectations and that she can now say that people are just people and grateful to everybody for this experience.
:46 - Daniele says that she can't vote out her dad but overall is really glad that she got time to get to know her a little bit better and sorry it had to end here. Dick says it was a pleasure getting to know her. Zach said he was happy getting to have the last few days gettng to know her and wishes her the best.
:47 - Julie tells Jameka about her niece being born and shows her niece's picture on the screen. Jameka's thrilled about it. Julie tells her she's off to the jury house.
:47 - The final HOH is about to begin. The backyard looks like a giant pumpkin patch complete with scarecrows. Commercial.
:52 - We're back. Julie tells the houseguests who are still in the living room to go out back to the backyard. Says it will be played in three parts over the next couple of days. Winner of round 1 will advance to round 3. Winners of rounds 1 and 2 will compete against each other in round 3.
:53 - Competition is called 'The Bunny Hop'. Each of them has to step onto one of the carrots and hold onto the key above of their head. At least one hand must remain in contact with the key at all times. This little white rabbit is up to no good and will try to knock them off their feet. They must dodge the rabbit by jumping over him each time he runs past them. If they let go of their key, fall from their carrot, or stop the rabbit from moving forward they're out of the game. Last person left standing automatically advances.
:53 - The rabbit begins going around. The competition starts now. They have to jump over the pole the rabbit is on each time it comes to their carrot while holding onto the key.
:55 - Julie asks them how they're doing and they say they're doing all right. Says the final three have a tough night ahead of them and you never know what's coming down the rabbit hole next. Commercial.
:57 - We're back and return to the backyard. All are still doing fine. Do you know what it takes to keep a garden lush? That's right. It takes rain. Water comes pouring down. Daniele says she's so cold. Julie tells them to hang on and that it will be a long night.
:58 - Julie tells this Thursday, the final HOH is crowned and singlehandedly evicts someone. On Sunday, is a 'Best of Big Brother' show. Reminds of Big Brother After Dark on Showtime.
:59 - Back to the backyard. It's raining really hard. Both of them keep jumping as the rabbit gets to them. Show over.

Do you think it at all possible that just maybe they will evict Dick for cheating and let Jam stay in the house???? Wouldn't that be the cats meow and a serious slap in the face to Dick's speech and game play??? I can't wait till the show!!!!

Would be a dream come true to see him get a penalty vote, evicted, no interview with Julie and no sequester house, straight back home.
I know it won't happen but I'm with you......it is NOT gameplay. It's disguisting behavior.

What is going on in the house? I so agree with all of you, ED is just despicable, all he does is cuss people out whenever he feels threatened by something, he is a whiney baby just like his daughter. He just does it by cussing people out and saying horrible things.

Right now my greatest fear is that if all the HGs are being held separately in sequester, that they will not be allowed to have a meeting to discuss their reasons for who they will vote for and why as they have in past years. Jameka has learned a lot in the last two weeks and the way Dick is acting towards Zack is horrendous!!!!
Talk about an immature daughter, he's acting like someone took his blankie. Can you imagine what would happen if Zach said one rude comment about Danielle? Maybe he should, Dick would lose it and who knows what he would do. I just know Dick will keep this up during the endurance comp but I think it will only make Zach more determined.
One last thing I am also nervous about is that they always have the endurance comp as the first part of the three parter, if they don't and have a question part first this will definitely convince me that they have slanted everything for the Donatos.

Hi all of you Hamsters and HUGE Thanks to HamsterDame!!! I just feel like I must say that I have watched all the BB's all these years and although at first I did'nt like DICK... I have really listened to him and I am now really greatful for his rants!!! All the BB's have been full of people that are full of **** . This guy is just not going to take it !!! I wish all of us as voters and citizens would learn to rant on tv maybe things would be different... Maybe we would not be greaving the loss of over 4000 soilders and countless others.... I like it that he tells it like it is, Zach is a racist! He hated Jamica and her religion ( which has worn a bit thin with me ) now he is praying with her!!! The Donato's are by no means perfect but they are not phonies. They also accually have a plan they are not sheep! I for one have learned something from Dick Donato.... Thanks Dick I needed that slap in the face so I could wake up and see what is going on around me!!!

Ugh. I cannot stand Dick or his whiney daughter. I think the letter scam was deserving of a penalty nom. Then after being a complete jerk to Zach, which he is obviously setting up it would only be sweet sweet justice to have Zach be the tie breaker. One could only wish...but you know BB wouldn't do anything as bold and deserving as that.
Who would want to go on this show now if it means being in the house with someone like Dick who never gets sanctioned. It is one thing to blow up once or twice...it is another thing to be such a moronic twit that the only way you can play this game is to be a complete and utter jackass! Ugh...
Anyway, I'm routing for my fellow FSU alum!!!! GO ZACH!

I do not enjoy watching a grown man yell and intimidate people just for his own satisfaction (some may call this gameplay - I think it's pathetic). He has cheated through Vincent's letter and laughed about getting away with it. How is this any better than Jen's eating? I didn't see him get punished for what he's done. Whatever...
I will be watching tonight only to cheer Zach on. GO ZACH!

Everyone has said that the days have been boring - dull. What if -- CBS decided to bring excitment and Dick is working for CBS -- after all they had an "Amercia's Player." I hope Dick wins!!!!! Wow that rain looks miserable. I think Zack with his hat on has an advantage. I sure hope so - he needs to pull this out and stick with it all night or The Donatos win, that would suck.
When I was a kid we had some crazy neighbors named the Donatos - they actually moved out of their house into a camping trailer and then burned their house down. Cuckoo for sure! Must be the name.
Dick is just an ass and I don't want him to win.

Wow HD you have done an awesome job, I didn't really understand the veto rules, especially the wheel. I don't know how you managed to understand them and then type them so fast, you are amazing. Have you ever tried out for BB, you should, you would do great. But you would need a team of at least 10 to try to do as good a job on your blog as you do. But, what a huge fan base you would have! We would all vote you for America's Choice. You rock HD.

And of course CBS ignored the cheating. Make me barf. Dick's behavior is abhorent. My heart got to pounding so hard I had to take a beta blocker. Seriously - I take them when I need to, and I needed one after watching some youtube stuff prior to the live show, Dick is a fitting name.
Too bad CBS chooses to accept abuse. Verbal abuse is abuse, purposely blowing smoke in someone's face is a physical assault, and so was the tea dumping. Dick is an abusive man.
I am quite surprised by Daniele using the veto on her dad. Maybe she is human somewhere deep down. Too bad the one she showed compassion to was the worst influence in her life.

CBS just showed how gutless they were by not penalizing Dick for his cheating letter from home. This is absolute proof the show has steered from the start to let one of the D's win. CBS, shame on you!

I really wanted Julie to tell Dick he had a vote against him...or they would take away the POV that Dani gave him...its just not fair how he openly said he conspired with Vincent..just not fair.
My favorite part was seeing them at the jury house...I was so excited and glued to the tv. My only hope is that Zack gets HOH and goes against Dick...i really want to see Dani cry out of the house...and then of course Zack will win the game.
now if the feeds would go on...I would be very happy!!!

I really hate the Donatos, and their patheticlly biased edit. They are hoorrible human beings. If CBS really wnats to give them money just write out a check, and stop pretending that this is a game/competition at *any* level.
Pure, simple disgusting.
I want Zach to win; but sadly, Dani - despite being a poor human being - is a solid competitor. And, Dick while not awesome at comps is at least decent considering all his weaknesses. Zach is fighting a HUGE uphill battle in the Final 3.

I am sorry, but the biggest thing I dislike about BB..the fan hate at the end. If it had been Jess and Eric, you would be hating them right now for some back stabbing crap, were so horible to Danielle...blah blah blah.
It is like this every year as people stand on their soapbox and preach morals and how truly evil the final people are...it is a GAME. Why not talk about how stupid the rest were for leaving him in the game if you feel he is so vile. They have no one to blame but themselves...geeze. I happen to like Dick because he made the show, as much as his words made you cringe...I always waited to see who he was yelling at next.
Without Dick, we would have had Jess and Eric cuddling and whispering in a bed somewhere, Jameka praying and Zach being alone somewhere. Not much to watch there.
Watching the dynamics between these two amazes me (Dick and Dani). They are like a psychlogical case study...As a father, you speak, no holds barred and you love fierce and you hate even more fiercely...but you also teach those same lessons to your daughter, by example, and it bites ya in the arse. I have enjoyed watching it and I am hoping one or both win and that , more important that a 80 day game, they learn a lot about the mistakes they have made and they leave the house working on the rest of their lives.

Thanks again HD for a great job. I am so tired of everyone complaining about Dick cheating (dumping tea, letter codes and whatever else you are complaing about) (penalty votes, sanctions, evictions) LOL! If Dick had done anything against BB's rules he would have been held accountable. He obviously did not, because he is still there. Jen obviously did, she got a penalty vote. She is not there. CBS is held accountable for the way the game is played. The game must be played according to rules and regulations affixed by FCC. Get off it already. We all whine more than Dani. We are all whinners and moaners worse than those in the BB house, don't you think? Very few liked or could stand Zach from the beginning. Look at you now. Zach is nothing, he has done nothing, he has played nothing, he has shown nothing. Why should nothing win the game? I say good luck to all, may the best player win. I can't wait to stop whinning and moaning about BB8 players. D&D final two Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh!!!

The show was better tonight that on Sunday.. I expect Zack to win this one.. cuz he has the strongest legs.. Dick won't last too long cuz he doesn't know how to jump rope very well.. as far as being cold.. The Temp in Burbank is 88 degrees.. she shouldn't be that cold...

I have been a D & D fan throughout, but I hope that Zach wins POV and evicts Daniele. He will beat Dick with the Jury. I am so thoroughly disgusted with Dick and Daniele's behavior. So completely unnecessary at this point!!! Time to grow up!!!

Did y'all catch Zach in the DR saying his mind is like a samurai sword?? LMAO! Now don't get me wrong, I'm a Zach fan (at least relative to who's left in the Donatos), but that's a pretty rusty samurai sword you're boasting about after you talked a huge game and proceeded to get smoked in a mental toughness POV comp.
BTW, I know we probably say stuff like this every year, and I certainly won't be the first to remark on it this year, but what is with the double standard held by the Donatos (esp. Dick)? I guess I never really considered it an issue because thanks to Dick's intimidation and Daniele's solid competition play, they've been dealing from a position of strength at most points throughout the game, but it really galls me that all of their lies are "what's necessary to advance us in the game", while anyone that lies to them is viewed by them as the scum of the earth. I really get a kick out of Dick's favorite sentence fragment, "nothing personal, just game"...because I honestly believe he only applies that mode of thinking to his own decisions. Sorry I veered off on a Donatos rant, the moment just kind of seized me.

Well, I was wrong about the houseguests being kept separately somewhere during sequester. I'm a little sad to know that it wouldn't be long before they started in on the final 3 and how ugly it would get.
But nothing could have been more ugly than Dick on the feeds before the live show and seeing him on the live show being a sore winner! His behavior is ugly. I don't believe it's strategy, but that he just isn't capable of conducting himself in a manner other than vulgar.
UGH!
I thought it was ironic that the HOH competition specifically included things both Dick and Danielle said they had problems with - remember Dick going to the DR and telling them it would be an unfair disadvantage to him if the comp. required him to use his sore right shoulder? And Danielle saying that she'd have a problem with wet and cold? What I don't get is why they didn't dress more appropriately - they discussed exactly what to wear such as 'HATS' like Zach! They talked about dressing for getting wet and cold; yet it was less than 5 minutes before they were soaked and shivering and teeth chattering. Dumb, dumb, dumb. No one to blame but themselves for this loss - especially after staying up all night playing cards when they knew they'd have the endurance comp tonight!
Oh, well. At least the hamsters at the sequester house looked like they were getting along and were at least warm and eating well tonight. (

I absolutely do not want you to think I am being critical because I am in awe that you get as much detail in the live feed blogs as you do, but I noticed a mistake that I thought you might like to correct!! It was an interesting night, wasn't it??

We had to go out last night and tivo'd the show...caught a little of BBAD before crashing. Dick's trash talk was twisted, but the panty munching stuff was pretty funny...overall it was boring.
I just watched the show (yes, over breakfast but I'm not addicted to BB...LOL!) and fast-forwarded most of it as it went as expected.
However I loved the jury house segment, the scenery looks like the Santa Barbara wine country. The "Beam Me Up" look on Jen's face when she was crammed on the sofa with the LNC was hilarious!
I can't remember what round 2 comp usually is; someone please refresh my memory, it's going to entertaining for sure.
